At Ameron, our products include pre-stressed, spun-cast concrete and round tapered steel poles that service the commercial & Industrial, Transportation (DOT), Municipal, Intermodal & Utility markets.

    What You Will Do:

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES

    1. Identify any Non-Conforming Products.

    2. Receive, Inspect and count all materials. Check weight if necessary.

    3. Sign Packing Slips and match with Purchase Orders

    4. Distribute materials to proper locations.

    5. Work closely with Material Control person and MRP system.

    6. Conduct cycle counts of inventories as required.

    7. Organize sale orders and load sheets for shipping

    8. Load and secure products to trucks in proper order

    9. Count and package parts for UPS or truck shipment

    10. Keep warehouse organized and clean.

    11. Work in a Safe and Timely Manner

    SECONDARY RESPONSIBILTIES

    1. Review orders and have tenons modified, as needed.

    2. Send out parts and arms for fabrication or painting.

    3. Monitor dunnage, boxes and shipping materials, and other supplies and report when time to reorder

    4. Be familiar with all parts and computer numbers by site.

    5. Ability to operate a forklift in tight spaces, indoor and outdoor environment.

    6. Complete other duties as assigned.

    EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

    1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.

    2. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, sales orders, manufacturing orders and drawings required to carry out the job.

    3. Completed Forklift Training Program.

    4. Ability to read basic drawings and take measurements accurately with a tape measure

    5. Must have good people skills in communicating with vendors and carriers.

    6. Ability to prioritize and adjust to changing situations.

    7. Have basic knowledge of computer work stations and minimal data entry

    8. Ability to work efficiently and effectively without supervision.

    CONCLUDING

    1. Operator shall consider him/herself as part of a team working towards the same goal and consider your fellow workers as his/her customers.

    2. Must be able to work efficiently and effectively without supervision. Report difficulties as they develop. Provide suggestions or solutions.

    3. Must be willing to do other tasks as assigned by their supervisor.

    4. Must remember Safety comes first.
