Warranty Cancellations Clerk

We are currently looking to add a qualified Warranty Cancellations Clerk to join our team.

The Warranty Cancellations Clerk is responsible processing and managing the cancellation of extended vehicle warranties, insurance products, and service contracts within our accounting department

Responsibilities

• Process new business contracts for extended warranty and insurance products
• Process and post cancellations per lienholder requests, customer requests and cancellations per statements
• Ensuring that all required documents are collected for the cancellation process
• Process refund checks for cancellations to customers or lienholders
• Maintain the schedules and work the reconciling items on the extended warranty/insurance reconciliations
• Other duties that may be assigned

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior automotive dealership experience a plus
• Must be detailed oriented and possess good organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
• Competent with computers, spreadsheets, and a calculator; willing to learn onsite system

• Solid time management skills.

Compensation
