Hiring Opportunity: Crestline, OH

Our client is looking for a Washer Maintenance Technician to join their team! Our client produces and distributes architectural glass and aluminum for the commercial and residential construction markets.

The Washer Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing preventive maintenance and corrective actions on all production washer systems, including Pre-Sprays and Ultrasonic Tables. Ensures all equipment remains mechanically reliable, free of corrosion, and compliant with operational performance standards.

Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning, surface preparation, coating, and preventive-maintenance tasks on washer and dryer systems in alignment with production and repair schedules.
- Service washer subsystem components-including rolls, brushes, bearings, and drive elements-to maintain system reliability and support accurate inventory control.
- Maintain thorough preventive-maintenance records and assist with updates to technical procedures.
- Manage and optimize spare-parts inventory, including rolls, bearings, and brush media.
- Conduct routine operational audits, diagnostics, and corrective adjustments across all washer systems.
- Perform minor mechanical repairs and modifications, including float-valve adjustments, fabrication of filter-access panels, and deburring of bearing housings.
- Coordinate roll refurbishment, specifications, and logistics with storeroom personnel.
- Operate shop equipment such as band saws, grinders, drill presses, and sandblasting units in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor deionized-tank (DI-tank) performance and replace tanks as needed.
- Identify washer system failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
