Cleaning & Restoration Technician Qualifications and Experience
- Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
- Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
- Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
- 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning
Job Summary
Assist in gaining and retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of residential and commercial cleaning and restoration services.
This role requires flexibility to be "on-call" 24/7, as we provide emergency response services to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Daily Schedule:
- Arrive at the shop by the designated time.
- Travel to restoration or cleaning jobs.
- Conduct pre- and post-job equipment and vehicle maintenance.
- Perform services such as:
- Water, mold, fire, and smoke damage restoration.
- Carpet and floor cleaning.
- Odor remediation.
- Maintain company vehicles and inventory.
- Represent the company professionally in appearance, behavior, and communication.
- Document work and complete daily logs.
- Communicate effectively with customers and management to ensure project completion.
- MUST BE ABLE TO BE "ON CALL" 24/7 SINCE WE ARE AN EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS.
