About the Role:Duraclean Services LLC is looking for a motivated and dependable Water Mitigation Technician to join our growing team in Forest Hill, MD. This is a hands-on role where you'll make a real difference — helping homeowners and businesses recover quickly from water damage emergencies. Responsibilities:- Respond to water damage emergency calls in a timely and professional manner
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping on affected properties
- Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and drying mats
- Document job progress with photos, moisture readings, and detailed notes using mitigation software
- Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters throughout the restoration process
- Identify and remove unsalvageable materials such as drywall, flooring, and insulation as needed
- Ensure job sites are safe, clean, and compliant with IICRC drying standards
Requirements:- Prior experience in water mitigation, restoration, or a related trade is preferred
- IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification is a plus
- Ability to operate moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras, and drying equipment
- Strong physical stamina — ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined or demanding environments
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to be on-call and respond to after-hours emergency jobs
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
