The Water Safety Program Swim Instructor plays a vital role within the Water Safety Program. Join us on our mission to make every child water safe. The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center is proud to collaborate with organizations like the LA 84 Foundation and the Pasadena Education Foundation to provide each 3rd grader in the Pasadena Unified School District how to swim.

- Improve your own swimming abilities Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Setting up/Cleaning for lessons every shift
- Pre Testing/Post Testing students
- Teaching children how to be water safe/ teach skills that are going to allow them to explore
and exercise in the water
- Being a positive role model and pushing the students to achieve more than they thought
possible
- Attending quarterly family BBQ's to meet with the students and their families in hopes that
they continue to utilize our facility for their aquatic needs Pay Rate: $19.04- $21 per hour, DOE
Must be available during the 2026 Pasadena Unified Calendar school year.
Hours from 8:45 AM - 1:30 PM Monday thru Friday.
Additional hours available for qualified candidates.
