Waterproofing Installer – Balcony Systems (Westcoat)

About the Role
We are hiring a Waterproofing Installer to join our construction/termite repair division, specializing in balcony and deck waterproofing systems. This position focuses on installing Westcoat waterproofing systems on residential and HOA multi-family properties throughout San Diego County.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Install cementitious and liquid-applied waterproofing systems for balconies, decks, stairs, and walkways
- Prep substrates including grinding, cleaning, priming, and patching
- Apply waterproofing layers, base coats, membranes, and topcoats per manufacturer specifications
- Work alongside carpenters and termite repair crews on balcony restoration projects
- Follow safety procedures, jobsite protocols, and quality standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure projects stay on schedule
Experience & Qualifications
- Construction, waterproofing, concrete coating, or similar trade experience preferred
- Experience with balcony or deck waterproofing is a strong plus
- Ability to use hand tools, grinders, mixers, and application equipment
- Comfortable working outdoors and on elevated surfaces (balconies, stairs, scaffolding)
- Physically able to lift materials, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail
