Wealth Planning Associate

The Family Office Practice is a group within Ballentine Partners, focused specifically on clients with investable assets above $30million.  We provide objective investment and financial planning advice to our clients.  We are a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor.

In thisrolethe candidate will not onlybe responsible forthe technical tasks below but will alsohave the opportunity tolearn the soft skills necessary to be successful in their interactions with people at all levels. 

• Designing and preparing client financial reports andexhibitsfor client meetings 

• Collecting, compiling, andevaluatingraw data from multiple sources to produceaccuratefinancial summaries 

• Contributing to strategic thinking on client team byidentifyingand elevating strategic planning issues and opportunities 

• Identifyingand researching client issues under supervision 

• Handling special analyses and projects for client teams (estate flow diagramming, cash flow analysis, forecasting, etc.)

• Researching financial planning topics to enhance firm’s knowledge management resources

• Other duties as assigned

The right candidate will be someone who:

• Can take direction from multiple sources and prioritize a variety of tasks daily

• Can work both independently and in a team structure with a diverse group of people

• Can juggle and prioritize a variety of tasks daily

• Is highly organized witha very strongattention to detail

• Is comfortable working with senior stakeholders and sophisticated clients

• Has high professional standards, judgment, and discretion 

• Hasstrong communicationskills, verbal and written 

• Has excellent interpersonal & relationship skills including a positive attitude

ABachelor’s Degreeisrequired. 1 –3years of experience in asimilarrole is preferred.

Ballentine Partners compensation is made up of a base salary and performance bonus. The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $105,000 and iscommensuratewith experience. Performance bonuses are based upon company and personal performance and are paid out annually.
