Job Summary:
The Web Application Designer/Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. This role involves both the graphical and technical aspects of websites, ensuring seamless user experience and functionality. The developer will create site architecture, structure, and layout while also ensuring the website remains updated and optimized for performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop visually appealing and functional web applications.
Create and implement website layout, structure, and navigation.
Develop front-end and back-end functionalities to enhance user experience.
Maintain and update existing websites to ensure efficiency and security.
Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility.
Work with cross-functional teams to align web development with business goals.
Ensure adherence to best practices in web development and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
Experience in web development, UI/UX design, and front-end/back-end technologies.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
Knowledge of web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience with back-end development using PHP, Node.js, or similar technologies.
Understanding of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
Knowledge of web security principles and compliance.
