Web Developer

Essential Job Functions: • Maintain and develop both front and backend of company websites and special projects (design, develop, enhance, debug and implement routines) • Write quality code and document code properly including comments within code base • Troubleshoots production problems related to developed applications • Addresses problems of system integration, compatibility and multiple platforms • Consults with project teams, management and end users to identify and gather application and system requirements • Lead in creation and design of user interfaces and experiences (UX/UI) • Work independently, prioritize and solve problems proactively • Focus on multiple deadlines and deliverables in a high paced environment • Think abstractly (out of the box approach) • Utilize SEO best practices from a development stand point • Provide creative input and support through various stages of the design / development lifecycle • Ensuring compliance with best practices for user interfacespanclass="UiMktc">...span>spanclass="WbZuDe"> development including accessibility and localization • Work collaboratively with business units to improve workflow and improve the experience for our customers • Develop a process for strategic content planning and development • Research and understand targeted audience to develop relevant content and UX designs to elicit proper audience behavior • Test all launches of new content/ functionality to website from development to live sites • Proactively identifies any technical or content issues on digital properties and proposes solutions Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: • Entrepreneurial spirit in which you take ownership of your product and work to continuously improve • Strong understanding of web development best practices design methods • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, decision making and problem-solving skills • Passion for technology and design, and the drive to stay on top of industry trends and best practices • Excellent written, verbal communication and code documentation skills; including the ability to work with all levels of management • Efficient project management with ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies • Ability to work individually as well as with a cross functional team Education Experience: • 5+ years of experience in Web development • Proficiency in MS Office • Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or Graphic Design related) or equivalent work experience • Experience with all aspects of the development life cycle and test methodologies • Experience with object-oriented software development methodology • Strong knowledge of C# • Strong knowledge of Visual Studio 2017, .NET MVC5 framework, .NET Web API, Xamarin, Telerik, SQL Server, JavaScript, OAuth and PayPal integration • Knowledge of HTML, SEO principles and web page layout • Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript Desired but not required: • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite • Experience with IBM Watson Campaign Automation / Silverpop • Experience with Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure) • Experience with Repository, Unit of Work and MVC design patterns • Experience with daily fantasy sportsspan>
