Weekend Prep/Line Cook - Corporate Dining | Location: Phoenix, AZ 85083

Compensation: $19-$22 per hour| Full-Time

Schedule: Thursday-Monday, 8am to 4:30pm (Tuesday and Wednesday off). Weekend availability is essential to this role.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items with consistency, quality, and efficiency.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain assigned workstations for service.
  • Complete food preparation tasks, including slicing, chopping, portioning, and packaging.
  • Follow recipes, portion standards, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service and timely execution.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Support guest satisfaction through quality food and exceptional service.
  • Assist with training and deliveries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in food service or a scratch kitchen preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for cooking and learning new techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and responsible food handling standards.
  • Flexibility, including a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handler Card.

 

Physical and Sensory Requirements

  • This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may occur. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
