Weekend PRN Aides

About the Role:
Independence Home Health LLC is looking for compassionate and dependable Weekend PRN Aides to join our team in Columbus IN! Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to supervising staff
• Support clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties
• Administer medication reminders and assist with daily living activities (ADLs)
• Build trusting, respectful relationships with patients and their families
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or similar role preferred
• Valid HHA or CNA certification is a plus
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in and around Nineveh, IN
• Availability to work weekend shifts on a PRN (as-needed) basis
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently while adhering to care plan guidelines
• Must pass a background check and meet state home health aide requirements
