About the Role:
Independence Home Health LLC is looking for compassionate and dependable Weekend PRN Aides to join our team in Columbus IN! Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to supervising staff
- Support clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties
- Administer medication reminders and assist with daily living activities (ADLs)
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with patients and their families
- Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or similar role preferred
- Valid HHA or CNA certification is a plus
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in and around Nineveh, IN
- Availability to work weekend shifts on a PRN (as-needed) basis
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently while adhering to care plan guidelines
- Must pass a background check and meet state home health aide requirements
