Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders in a fully electronic health record
• Provide clinical dosing and pharmacokinetic monitoring (e.g., antibiotics, anticoagulation)
• Support safe and efficient medication use across inpatient units and ED
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians
• Serve as a clinical resource for providers and nursing staff

Schedule

• Typically, 2–3 shifts per month
• Scheduling is flexible and mutually coordinated

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Active Alabama Pharmacist License
• Valid Alabama Controlled Substance Certificate
