• Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Hours: 24 hours per week
• Schedule: Every weekend on a consistent basis
• Friday: 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM
• Saturday: 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and professional Security Officer to provide consistent weekend security coverage. The officer will be responsible for conducting hourly walking rounds throughout the property, monitoring for safety concerns, identifying facility issues, and reporting unusual activity. The ideal candidate must have strong de-escalation skills, effective written communication abilities, and consistent weekend availability.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct hourly walking rounds throughout the property.
• Look for unauthorized individuals or homeless persons in restricted areas.
• Check doors and windows for security concerns or signs of damage.
• Monitor stairwells for unusual activity, safety hazards, or other concerns.
• Identify burned-out lights or other lighting issues.
• Observe and report unusual, suspicious, or potentially unsafe conditions.
• Use a company-provided phone at the assigned location only to track and document hourly rounds.
• Complete a daily activity report documenting observations, activities, and any issues encountered during the shift.
• Monitor alarm panels for faults or trouble signals and report any concerns promptly.
• Report facility issues, maintenance concerns, and safety hazards to building maintenance or management.
• Maintain a professional and alert presence while on duty and follow all site-specific security procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong de-escalation and conflict-resolution skills; previous experience is preferred.
• Must have strong written communication skills and the ability to complete clear, accurate, and detailed reports.
• Must be dependable, attentive, and professional at all times.
• Must be able to recognize potential security concerns and respond appropriately.
• Must have reliable attendance and be available to work the scheduled shifts every weekend on a consistent basis.Some of our amazing benefits include:

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong attention to detail
