In this role, you'll help create a welcoming atmosphere while supporting daily operations, membership engagement, and exceptional customer service.Essential ResponsibilitiesGreet members, guests, and visitors with professionalism and enthusiasm.Process check-ins, registrations, membership transactions, and program enrollments.Answer questions in person and over the phone regarding YMCA programs, services, policies, and schedules.Process payments accurately and maintain detailed records using membership software and Microsoft Office applications.Promote YMCA memberships, programs, and events while assisting prospective members with enrollment opportunities.Follow up with membership inquiries and support member retention efforts.Assist with facility security procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents according to YMCA policies.Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality of member information.Collaborate with team members to provide a positive and seamless member experience.QualificationsPrevious customer service, cash handling, retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.Ability to build relationships with members, guests, and coworkers.Comfortable working with computers, membership management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Adult & Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required or ability to obtain and maintain.Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.Compensation$10.00-$12.00 per hourSchedulePart-time position with rotating availability, including:WeekdaysEveningsWeekendsBenefitsFREE access to fitness centers and pools at all YMCA of the Roses locations.Discounts on YMCA programs and lessons.FREE Child Watch services (up to 3 hours per day while working, when available).What You'll Love About This RoleNo two shifts are the same.
