    About the Role
    As a Welder at Super Steel, you’ll perform high‑quality welds on a variety of projects requiring accuracy, repeatability, and attention to detail. You’ll work with a supportive team in a clean, safety‑focused environment with opportunities to grow your skills.


    Key Responsibilities

    MIG Welding: Perform high-quality MIG welds on heavy carbon steel frames and structures.

    Part Fit-Up: Fit up your own parts and assemblies accurately according to blueprint specifications prior to welding

    Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications.

    Quality Inspection: Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with industry and ISO standards.

    Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding tools and equipment; perform minor repairs and setups as needed.

    Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily manufacturing production goals.

    Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

    Repair Support: Perform occasional TIG welding for minor equipment or weldment repairs as required.


    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent; welding apprenticeship preferred

    Proven welding experience with a strong portfolio

    Welding certifications (AWS, ASME) a plus

    Familiarity with welding tools, machinery, and safety practices

    Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills

    Effective communication and teamwork abilities

    Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions
