Hours:
1st Shift (Monday-Thursday) 05:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with mandatory overtime on Fridays if needed
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Read and interpret detailed drawings and weld symbols
- Create and use fixtures to ensure efficient welds
- Make precise welds in all directions, following specifications
- Finish metal surfaces as needed to meet quality standards
- Work on-site at a manufacturing facility in Canton, OH
Minimum Requirements:- Proficiency in all welding types (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Ability to weld aluminum, steel, and stainless steel
- Skilled in reading weld drawings and symbols
- Capable of making fixtures, fit-ups, and welding in all directions
- Ability to pass certification tests as required
- Must be able to work the scheduled hours and perform physically demanding tasks
Nice to Have Skills:- Experience creating and utilizing weld fixtures
- Additional certifications in welding or metal fabrication
- Knowledge of advanced welding techniques or tools
Preferred Education and Experience:- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication environment
Other Requirements:- Ability to work overtime on Fridays as needed
- Strong safety, teamwork, and communication skills
