Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Welder Helper for our client near Decatur, AL. In this role, you will be helping the welders in the welding department. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading automotive manufacturer and build your long-term career.
Key Responsibilities
Must be able to lift, carry and assemble parts to a pipe.
Follow instructions
Reading blueprints is a plus.
Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
Must have a working command of the English language, and be able to communicate.
Requirements
1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Environment (required)
High School Diploma/GED or technical school graduate
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work occasional overtime
Steel-toe boots required
Must pass background and drug screening
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
