Seeking Flux Core Welders for a fabrication shop in Decatur, Alabama. This full-time role offers $23-25+ hourly pay based on experience, with 40 hours plus overtime; no per diem.
Job details include:
- FCAW welding on carbon steel with 1” plates
- Using 0.045 E71T-12C/M-H8 filler metal
- Performing V Groove 3G (uphill) weld tests
- Visual NDT of root, cap, and side bends
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years welding experience and proficiency in FCAW
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Pass a 9-panel drug screen and background check
- OSHA 10 preferred
- PPE includes gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, Type 2 Class C hard hat
