Superior Sales & Service is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator with strong mechanical aptitude to join our team. This is custom, hands-on fabrication work—not production line—requiring precision, problem-solving, and the ability to work from technical drawings. In addition to welding and fabrication, the ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and working on heavy-duty components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality welding and fabrication based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate fabrication tools such as torches, grinders, plasma cutters, and other hand tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and other measuring devices accurately.
- Assist with mechanical assembly and installation of fabricated components.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems as needed.
- Use basic math skills for measurements and conversions.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of welding and fabrication experience required.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in MIG and stick welding; TIG experience a plus.
- Skilled in operating metalworking tools and power hand tools.
- Mechanical aptitude required; experience with hydraulics or heavy equipment preferred.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Must own and maintain personal tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hydraulic systems, booms, or cranes.
- Knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
