Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
Some overtime depending on workload, typically 6 am to 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: Starting at $22+/hr. Based on experience
Integrity Trade Services is seeking a dedicated Welder/Fabricator for our reputable client located in Milwaukee.
Job Description
* Good math skills required, i.e. converting fractions and decimals, basic algebra. Must be able to read a tape measure to 16ths of an inch.
* Works from blueprints and shop drawings to lay out miscellaneous steel such as railings, stairs, fences, window guards, gates, columns and steel stairs.
* Cuts, punches, and drills material as required.
* MIG welds steel materials such as tube, angle and channel, ranging from 16 gauge to ½" thick. TIG welding capability of brass, aluminum and stainless steel is a plus.
* Grinds materials to high finish standards.
* Heavy lifting is required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
* Work is paid on a piece rate basis.
* This is not production welding. The fabricator takes the job from the blueprints through laying out the job, cutting materials, welding, grinding and finishing.
* A Valid WI driver's license is required.
