Welder

Arena Staffing is hiring an experienced pipe welder. This role involves fitting and welding pipe and structural pipe supports in field and prefab settings.

What you’ll do

• Read blueprints; lay out, cut, fit, and install pipe and supports.
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and galvanized material in all positions.
• Fit pipe joints, flanges, sockets, and other welded connections to project specifications.
• Produce welds that pass visual inspection by QC or a CWI.

Required weld tests

• SMAW, 6-inch Schedule 80 carbon steel, open root, 6G
• SMAW, 2-inch Schedule 80 carbon steel, open root, 6G

GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW pipe welding experience is a plus, particularly on carbon steel or 316L stainless steel.

Must Pass Weld text in San Diego, Job is in Hawthorne. Pay is $35-$50/hour
