Responsibilities

• Assist welders with setup, fit-up, and fabrication activities.
• Gather, organize, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
• Operate hand tools, grinders, and basic power tools safely.
• Assist with material handling and shop duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Support production goals while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or an industrial environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in a shop environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
