This position requires proficiency in MIG welding for structural applications, the ability to interpret blueprints, and a commitment to high -quality workmanship. Must be able to effectively comm unicate in English to be able to understand and comply with company safety guidelines appropriately. Responsibilities: · Perform MIG welding on structural steel components and assemblies. · Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication d rawings. · Set up welding machines and adjust settings for various thicknesses of steel. · Fabricate, fit, and assemble heavy steel parts to precise specifications. · Inspect completed welds for strength, quality, and conformance to standards. · Operate cu tting torches, grinders, and fabrication tools as needed. · Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and shop safety standards.
