Standard Job Description
The Welder is responsible for producing high‑quality welded components, sub‑assemblies, and repairs for aerospace programs. This role involves interpreting engineering drawings, setting up welding equipment, executing a variety of welding processes (MIG, TIG, FCAW, SAW, and specialty processes), and performing inspections to ensure compliance with stringent aerospace standards (e.g., NADCAP, AS9100, IPC‑610). The welder works closely with fabricators, quality engineers, and program staff to meet schedule, cost, and performance targets.

Performs welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys. Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Full-Time Salary Range: $41900.00 - $77700.00
