**Welder - TIG / Laser

**Pay: **$28.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced TIG / Laser Welder to join our growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding stainless steel components and assemblies used in data center cooling systems and semiconductor manufacturing applications. This role will focus primarily on TIG and laser welding, producing high-quality welds that meet strict customer specifications and industry standards. Most components arrive pre-cut and machined, allowing the welder to concentrate on precision welding, quality, and throughput.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components and assemblies.

• Perform laser welding as required.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.

• Assemble and weld pre-machined and pre-cut components to specification.

• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and consistency.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.

• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines and customer requirements.

• Assist with additional fabrication or assembly tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Previous TIG welding experience on stainless steel.

• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to use measuring and inspection tools.

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with laser welding.

• Experience in semiconductor, fluid handling, sanitary, or high-purity manufacturing environments.

• Fabrication and assembly experience.

• Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection methods.

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, bending, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.

• Ability to safely handle metal components and welding equipment.

• Use of required PPE including welding helmet, gloves, and safety equipment.
