Welding engineer (m/f/d)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Quality assurance and optimization of processes in the welding department
• Qualification of new welding processes
• Support for designs and the transition from prototypes to serial production
• Point of contact for technical questions / topics regarding the manufacturability of new developments, supplier selection, and international projects
• Creation of welding sequence and inspection plans
• Approval and release of welded components in production

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable field

• Certification as international welding engineer/European Welding Engineer

• Training in non-destructive testing (e.g., VT2, PT2 inspector according to ISO 9712) is desirable

• Initial professional experience in a similar position

• Knowledge of applicable welding standards and regulations

• Proficient user of MS Office

• Very good Romanian and English (C1) language skills both written and spoken

• Ability to apply logical and analytical thinking on a range of technical problems and make balanced decisions across technical and business parameters

• Desire to work in an interdisciplinary and agile team to drive innovative design solutions

• Good communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization
