Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welding Engineer to join our client's team in Camden, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in welding processes to ensure high-quality production and compliance with industry standards. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize welding procedures for various manufacturing processes
  • Provide technical support to resolve welding-related issues in production
  • Conduct weld inspections and ensure compliance with codes and specifications
  • Collaborate with quality teams to analyze weld defects and implement corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance weld quality and efficiency
  • Maintain documentation and reports related to welding activities and procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Welding Engineering or Materials Science from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and resistance welding
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Must be able to travel up to 10–20% of the time as needed.
  • Physically able to support shop-floor operations which includes lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and working in industrial environments.
