Welding Inspector

This position at a leading manufacturing facility focuses on meticulous control and validation of welding processes, specifically in the production of structural racking systems. Responsibilities include the examination and documentation of manufacturing processes adhering to top industry standards and internal quality benchmarks. Key duties involve evaluating daily production activities, ensuring strict adherence to welding standards, and maintaining a rigorous documentation system.

Key responsibilities include:
- Execute comprehensive inspections on the production floor, focusing on weld material fitting, visual checks, and evaluation of procedural conformity.
- Assure that all welding activities comply with required certification procedures and established quality codes.
- Conduct necessary tests for certification, upholding quality and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of qualifications, test results, and inspection findings.
- Ensure equipment inspection and process compliance on a regular basis.
- Translate engineering drawings for accurate inspection.
- Influence the sustained application of the Quality Assurance Guidebook.
- Undertake occasional travel for work purposes.

Candidates must hold recognized certification and possess a minimum of five years in the welding sector, with specific expertise in industry-standard codes and procedures. Competence in documentation and assurance controls, along with the ability to travel, are vital.
