Welding Robot Operator – 1st Shift
Location: Columbia City, IN
Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay – Based on Experience, $20-27/hr

What You’ll Do
Operate and monitor automated robotic welding equipment.
Load and unload parts into welding fixtures, checking placement and alignment before each cycle.
Make basic programming or weld path adjustments as needed.
Troubleshoot basic robot, fixture, and welding issues.
Inspect finished welds for quality, consistency, and proper placement.
Read blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions.
Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance.
Follow safety procedures and keep your work area organized.
What We’re Looking For
Previous robotic welding, welding automation, or manufacturing robot experience preferred.
Basic understanding of welding processes and metal fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
Experience with OTC Daihen, FANUC, ABB, or Yaskawa systems is a plus.
Familiarity with teach pendants or basic robotic programming is helpful.
Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and a commitment to safety.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday + OT on Fridays as needed
