About the role
- The Wellness Center Student Supervisor will be responsible for 2 primary roles: First, they will be responsible for checking in Bethel Community Members to the Wellness Center and attending to the administrative duties at the front desk including: monitoring cameras for safety and health concerns, directing traffic and communicating the various schedules throughout the facility, and answering all questions pertaining to the Wellness Center. Second, they will be responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of the Wellness Center facility including: cleaning floors, windows, cardio machines, and strength machines.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates will have a good balance of relational abilities, organizational skills, discipline, and hard work.
- Candidates must also be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Must be a current Student at Bethel.
Work Environment:
- Work takes place within the Wellness Center and is a combination of administrative work at the front desk and cleaning on the floor.
Physical Demands:
- Cleaning shifts require the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift weights up to 50lbs.
Expected Hours of Work:
- Most student workers average between 5-10 hours of work a week but it is an option to work up to 20 hours if desired.
