Wellness Coordinator - School Health Services

 

• The Wellness Coordinator collaborates with school nurses, school administration, and clinical teams to plan, organize, and implement school-based health transportation plans that expand health care access. The coordinator provides day-to-day coordination, scheduling, and logistics pertaining to school health transportation process, and travels between schools regularly.

• 40 Hours/Week during the school year with summers off, 0.8FTE.

• Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

 

 

Coordinates project activities, schedules meetings, communicates with stakeholders, tracks progress, and ensures timely completion of tasks.

 

 

Essential Functions:

• Assists with the development of project plans and timelines to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Coordinates project meetings and communicates updates to team members.
• Monitors project progress alongside project manager and identifies any potential risks or issues.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
• Prepares and maintains project documentation and reports.
• Assists in budget tracking and resource allocation for the project.
• Contributes to projects and serves as a subject matter expert in area of responsibility.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience, required.
