PermAlert is hiring for a Western Regional Sales Manager
Position Summary
We are a growing division within Perma-Pipe Inc - a publicly traded industrial company. Our focus in delivering best-in-class solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction has positioned the company for strong growth over the past few years. As a result of continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join the US sales team to grow the business of the assigned region. The regional sales manager is a quota carrying sales position driving both direct and channel selling to the data center and critical facility space related to leak detection systems. This position is responsible for growing the region through direct contact with end users, influencing engineering consultants, and developing channel partners such as value-added resellers, independent reps and integrators. The position is based in our Rolling Meadows IL office.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Direct selling to key accounts primarily in the mission critical facilities that includes data center, clean room manufacturing (semiconductor), OEMs etc.
Target engineering consultants to promote and adopt specifications.
Collaborate with technical team, operations and management to meet sales objectives and manage customer expectations.
Develop and manage regional channel partners to improve market share, revenue growth and profitability across different market sectors.
Qualify inbound leads, convert them into sales opportunities, and close deals.
Drive identification, prospecting and creation of new sales opportunities.
Work with internal teams to develop RFP/RFI responses, project proposals and submittals.
Participate in tradeshows and other marketing initiative with focus to raise product awareness and increase sales.
Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competitive landscape to product line engineering / technical team.
Work with the pipe division to support projects where leak detection system is a part of the overall pipe solution.
Responsible for updating CRM tool information.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS / REPORTING: Work across functional teams including engineering, field/tech support and operations on continuous improvement initiatives. Reports to Vice President and General Manager PermAlert
