Current openings:
Afternoon shift 3p-11p, 11p-7a or a Floater that will work all 3 shifts as needed.

- Continuously monitor dryer, finisher evaporator, and WPC performance and make necessary changes to operating parameters.
- Notify control room lead person/management of any irregularities in the performance of equipment.
- Monitor and verify that proper changes and connections have been made for production and CIP modes of operation.
- Perform computer tasks as needed.
- Insure correct reporting of ingredients to the inventory management system.
- Maintain all production records in an orderly fashion.
- Perform hourly quality checks.
- Assist in other production areas as required.
- Assist in loading outgoing and unloading incoming trucks of whey concentrate as required.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment and quality standards.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment as required.
- Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater within the scope of the position.
- Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements.
- Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two years of experience in a production area of the plant or equivalent is highly preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to use commercial English, grammar and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division including decimals and fractions
- Mechanical Abilities highly preferred
- Knowledge of and ability to use various computer applications
Must be able to read, write and speak English
