Job Title: Windchill Data Migration Process Lead
Location: Remote (EST Hrs) / West Chester, PA (Preferred)
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Windchill Data Migration Process Lead to lead and coordinate PLM data migration initiatives involving PTC Windchill. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Windchill data migration, migration planning, data mapping, extraction/transformation/loading, validation, and coordination with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Windchill data migration activities from assessment and planning through execution, validation, and deployment.
  • Analyze existing PLM data and define migration strategy, scope, approach, and timelines.
  • Perform and/or oversee migration of Windchill objects, including Parts, Documents, CAD data, BOMs, Attributes, WTDocuments, and related metadata.
  • Develop data mapping and transformation rules between legacy PLM systems and Windchill.
  • Coordinate data extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and migration validation.
  • Work with business users and functional teams to identify data quality issues and define remediation strategies.
  • Lead migration mock runs, testing, reconciliation, and final production migration.
  • Ensure data integrity, relationships, revisions, versions, lifecycle states, and metadata are maintained during migration.
  • Collaborate with Windchill functional/technical teams, developers, business stakeholders, and QA teams.
  • Track migration issues, risks, dependencies, and provide status updates to project leadership.
  • Define migration checklists, validation criteria, and documentation for repeatable migration processes.
  • Support cutover planning and post-migration verification.

Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill.
  • Proven experience leading Windchill / PLM Data Migration projects.
  • Experience with Windchill Parts, Documents, CAD data, BOMs, attributes, revisions and lifecycle data.
  • Strong understanding of data mapping, extraction, transformation, cleansing, loading, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with Windchill Loader / LoadFromFile or other Windchill migration utilities.
  • Experience working with SQL/databases for data analysis and validation.
  • Strong understanding of PLM data models and relationships.
  • Experience managing migration testing, mock migrations, validation, and cutover.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
  • Experience migrating data from legacy PLM systems to Windchill.
  • Experience with Windchill PDMLink.
  • Knowledge of Windchill APIs, Java, or customization.
  • Experience with ETL/data migration tools.
  • Experience in manufacturing / engineering / product development environments.
  • Experience leading distributed technical and business teams.
