Winder Operator Location: Orangeburg, NY Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift Available Start: Quick Start!
Join a growing manufacturing team as a Winder Operator! In this role, you'll operate and maintain winding machines, monitor production, perform quality checks, troubleshoot equipment, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor winding machines.
Perform machine changeovers and quality inspections.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and report concerns as needed.
Load raw materials and move finished products to the warehouse.
Complete production reports accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Assist with training new team members.
Requirements:
1–2 years of manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must speak and understand English.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
