Prescription Landscape is hiring an experienced supervisor to lead snow and ice removal at a large commercial campus in the Twin Cities.
We're looking for someone who knows how to lead people, stay organized, and make good decisions under pressure.

What You'll Do
- Lead multiple crews, equipment operators, drivers, and subcontractors during snow events.
- Assign work, set priorities, and keep teams on schedule.
- Follow the snow response plan and adjust work as weather conditions change.
- Inspect the property to make sure snow and ice removal meets company standards.
- Keep employees safe and make sure proper work procedures are followed.
- Track employee hours, completed work, equipment needs, and material use.
- Communicate with the Production Manager about progress, staffing, and site concerns.
- Help train, coach, and support team members.
- Report safety incidents, property damage, and equipment problems.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Experience leading employees or multiple work crews.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make decisions and lead teams during busy, changing conditions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
- Ability to use a smartphone, maps, and basic reporting software.
- Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during winter weather (24/7 on-call availability).
Preferred:
- Experience in snow removal, landscaping, construction, or similar outdoor operations.
- Experience coordinating equipment operators or subcontractors.
- Knowledge of snow removal equipment and ice control practices.
Pay and Schedule
Hourly Pay: $32-43 with applicable differentials
Our compensation includes:
- Base hourly pay of $28-38, based on experience and qualifications.
- An additional $2 per hour winter operations differential.
- An additional $2 per hour driving differential for eligible employees.
- An additional $3 per hour driving differential for eligible CDL drivers, in place of the standard driving differential.
Applicable differentials are paid for all hours worked, not just time spent driving.
Schedule: This is a seasonal, on-call winter position. Work hours depend on weather conditions and operational needs and are not guaranteed. Supervisors must be available for snow and ice events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical RequirementsThis is an active field leadership role. You must be able to work outdoors in winter weather, walk on snowy or icy surfaces, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Assistance or approved lifting methods are used for heavier items.
