Wood Shop Helper - 1st Shift

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Wood Shop Helper to join our team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in woodworking and manufacturing. No experience is required; we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the production and assembly of wood products
• Operate saws, planer machines, and other woodworking equipment safely
• Measure, cut, sand, and finish materials according to specifications
• Move, load, and unload materials throughout the shop
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions
• Assist team members with general shop duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Woodworking, manufacturing, or construction experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to use basic hand tools and read a tape measure
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
