About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Woodworkers for a millwork manufacturing company in Rice, MN. In this role, you'll help produce high-quality wood doors, frames, and architectural millwork products while supporting a skilled production team. What You'll Do as a Woodworker:- Stacking lumber from conveyor to carts by size, width and species.
- Stack mouldings and species according to specified quantity per bundle.
- Defect marking, using chop saw to remove defect, and running lumber through moulder.
- Completes production records indicating quantity, footage produced, profiles, species, etc.
- Pulling scrap pieces from working areas as needed.
- Performs banding functions securing piles for transporting.
- Performs inspection procedures of handling / banding equipment, changes tooling when worn.
What You Need to Bring to the Woodworker Role:- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to read and follow outlined production schedules.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience working in fast paced environment.
- Must be able to physically lift and or move up to 75 lbs; able to stand, twist and bend for long periods of time.
