The responsibility of the Student Accessibility Services is to provide support services for students with disabilities here at the Eastern Campus. The office supports students with disabilities at any Tri-C campus; Common disability types include learning disabilities, sensory limitations, psychiatric conditions, physical mobility conditions, and chronic health issues.
In this role, you will:
Develop professional competencies in customer service and communication
Assist peers with college systems, resources, and processes
Build your teamwork and problem-solving skills by working collaboratively with other student employees and staff
Enhance leadership, teamwork, and intercultural competence by supporting campus events and engaging with diverse student populations.
Answer phone and take messages;
Clerical duties such as filing, open mail, and copying;
Assist with special projects;
Other duties as assigned.
