Overview
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Workday Financial Analyst to support and optimize its Workday Financial Management platform. This role will focus on system administration, financial reporting, integrations, and process improvement, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency across Finance and IT functions.

The ideal candidate combines Workday Financials expertise, accounting knowledge, and strong communication skills, with the ability to partner with senior financial leaders and executives.



Core ResponsibilitiesWorkday Financials Administration
  • Maintain and configure Workday Financial Management modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Banking & Treasury)
  • Manage tenant refreshes, security audits, and background processes
  • Ensure system performance, stability, and data integrity
Integrations & Technical Support
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Workday integrations
  • Resolve system errors and coordinate fixes with IT teams and vendors
  • Submit and manage Workday support cases as needed
Release & Change Management
  • Support Workday release lifecycle (configuration, testing, deployment, documentation)
  • Maintain optimization and release calendars
  • Ensure compliance with change management processes (e.G., ServiceNow)
Reporting & Financial Analytics
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Workday tools
  • Support financial reporting accuracy and audit readiness
  • Monitor reporting performance and proactively resolve issues
Incident Management & End-User Support
  • Respond to system issues and user inquiries
  • Provide training and documentation to Finance and operations teams
  • Partner on process improvements and automation initiatives



Qualifications & ExperienceRequired Experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Workday Financial Management
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Experience with core financial modules:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Banking & Treasury
  • Experience troubleshooting Workday integrations
  • Background in finance, accounting, or healthcare environments preferred
Technical Competencies
  • Proficiency with:
    • Workday Financials
    • Workday Adaptive Planning
    • Workday Reporting & Dashboards (including OfficeConnect)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows
  • Experience with system configuration, testing, and optimization
  • Familiarity with change management tools (e.G., ServiceNow)
Professional Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to engage senior leadership
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organizational and project management–style skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Operations teams



Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field –Required
  • Master’s degree (MBA or Technology Management) –Preferred



Certifications
  • Workday Financial Management Certification –Preferred



Additional Information
  • Remote role with expectation to work Arizona business hours
  • Minimal travel (<5%) may be required for onsite collaboration
