Job Title: Workday Financials Inventory Lead

Project Overview
The client is seeking a Workday Financials Inventory Lead with healthcare experience to support the implementation and configuration of Workday Financials with Inventory Management.
This role will lead inventory-related functional design and configuration, working closely with finance, supply chain, and operational stakeholders to ensure Workday supports healthcare inventory processes including medical supply management, inventory valuation, and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design and configuration of Workday Inventory Management
• Work with supply chain, finance, and clinical operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
• Configure inventory items, stock locations, replenishment rules, units of measure, and costing methods
• Support integration between Inventory, Procurement, Suppliers, and Financial Accounting
• Lead inventory-related testing cycles including SIT and UAT
• Provide guidance on Workday Inventory best practices within healthcare environments
• Assist with data conversion, validation, and inventory setup
• Support reporting and operational visibility into inventory usage and financial impact
• Document configurations, business processes, and operational procedures
• Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution

Required Qualifications

• Workday Financials certification
• Strong experience implementing or supporting Workday Inventory Management
• Experience serving as a functional lead or subject matter expert
• U.S. healthcare industry experience (hospital or health system supply chain environments)
• Strong understanding of inventory, procurement, and financial processes
• Experience supporting Workday testing cycles (SIT, UAT)

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting Workday Financials implementations in healthcare organizations
• Familiarity with healthcare supply chain and medical inventory processes
• Experience with Workday Procurement and Supplier Accounts
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
