Requirements
- 5 years or more of hands-on Workday HCM functional implementation experience, including Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and Payroll integrations.
- Proficiency in Workday Time Tracking configuration, validation, and complex time-processing requirements.
- Experience with Workday Absence Management, Benefits, and related HCM business processes.
- Experience in public sector Workday implementations, including union, bargaining-unit, complex leave, or workforce policies.
- Experience with Workday configuration reviews, requirements analysis, functional testing, defect resolution, and Payroll data dependencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Configure and support Workday HCM functions across Time Tracking, Absence Management, Benefits, and Payroll dependencies.
- Review functional designs, business processes, and system configuration with project stakeholders and implementation teams.
- Develop and execute functional test scenarios, validate system results, document defects, and coordinate issue resolution.
- Assess HCM, time, leave, and benefits data flows to ensure accurate downstream Payroll processing.
- Recommend configuration approaches that align Workday functionality with public-sector policies and operating requirements.
- Support deployment readiness, resolve functional issues, create documentation, and transfer system expertise to internal teams.
