Workers Compensation Analyst (Part-Time)

The Human Resources / Risk Management (HRRM) Agency is seeking self-driven, motivated and talented Workers Compensation professional passionate about growing in a professional environment and playing an active role as a contributor to the rapid growth and development of the City, while playing a key role in assisting the City to establish its goal in becoming the Premier Community of the Inland Empire.
Our team seeks to work with enthusiastic individuals who will provide unique perspectives to finding innovative solutions to enhance the Citys Workers Compensation Program. The Workers Compensation Analyst position provides Human Resources/Risk Management professionals with the opportunity to engage in analytically challenging assignments and special projects in support of the Citys goal to be the employer of choice. Workers' Compensation Analysts are responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to departments in one or more assigned functional areas of safety, workers compensation, subrogation and Risk Management.

Part-time/Temporary positions are scheduled to work no more than 29 hours per week and are not eligible to participate in the Citys health insurance or retirement plans. This current part-time role will provide coverage during normal business hours for the Human Resources / Risk Management office which are Mon. - Thurs. 7:30am to 5:30pm & Fri. 8am to 5pm. However, hours may vary outside of normal business hours due to support/attendance of city events/training.

Qualification Guidelines
Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Risk Management, Organizational Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
Three years of professional or technical experience in human resources, employee benefits, risk management, or a closely related field.
