Job Description

Successful law firm seeks an attorney to defend Workers' Compensation cases in Illinois and Missouri to join our St Louis, MI office. 

Job functions include litigating cases through all phases on behalf of Workers' Compensation cases with employers and insurers, management of individual caseload, drafting pleadings and conducting legal research as needed, negotiations for settlement, and attending hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and other proceedings. 

Qualifications

• J.D. and license in Illinois or Missouri required.  Both Illinois and Missouri licenses preferred.
• Experience defending workers’ compensation or general liability claims.
