Manage and coordinate workers' compensation claims from initial injury reporting through resolution. You'll be the liaison between employees, supervisors, insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and legal representatives - ensuring timely processing, regulatory compliance, and effective return-to-work programs.
This is a full time, in-office role based in Oak Ridge, TN.
What You'll Do:
-Receive, review, and process workers' compensation injury reports.
-Coordinate documentation and submit required forms to carriers and regulatory agencies.
-Monitor claim status and maintain accurate records in claims management systems.
-Communicate with parties on claim progress, medical treatment, and return-to-work options.
-Investigate workplace injuries with the claims team and gather supporting documentation.
-Coordinate with healthcare providers for medical reports and treatment updates.
-Support compliance with federal, state, and company WC regulations and policies.
-Help develop and administer return-to-work and modified-duty programs.
-Identify injury trends, recommend preventative measures, and prepare management reports.
-Support audits, legal proceedings, and insurance carrier inquiries as needed.
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's in HR, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
Experience:
-2-5 years in worker's compensation, claims administration, risk management, HR, or related field.
-Experience with insurance carriers, TPAs, or claims management systems preferred.
