About the Role:

As a CBRE Workplace Experience Receptionist, you will deliver exceptional workplace experience and hospitality services to building occupants and visitors.

This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. They are responsible for creating and maintaining exceptional workplace environments and high-end hospitality services for clients and their visitors.

The building is located near State Street and is easily accessible via public transportation. Please note that free parking is not available at this building. The most economical commuting option is the subway, with the Orange Line State Street stop conveniently located within the building.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role that requires exceptional customer service skills and a polished, professional demeanor. Experience interacting with executive-level or high-profile clients a plus. Responsibilities include greeting clients and visitors, answering and directing phone calls, issuing security badges, and providing general front desk support.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime opportunities offered as business needs require.

Please note that employment is contingent upon successfully completing both a primary background check and a secondary client-specific background check.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and providing a welcoming workplace experience.
  • Manage the reception desk including answering calls, directing inquiries, and managing visitor registration.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and provide support for internal and external events.
  • Maintain the reception area and common spaces to a high standard of presentation.
  • Process deliveries, manage incoming mail, and coordinate messenger services.
  • Provide administrative support to the workplace experience team.
  • Follows basic work routines and standards in application of work
  • Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems; has limited opportunity to exercise discretion
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, and methods and tasks are described in detail
  • Uses communication skills to exchange straightforward information
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Receptionist position is $23.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Receptionist position is $26.90 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
