Workstation Support Technician - Wichita, KS - Contract - $18-28 Per HR
The role involves maintaining and supporting computer workstations and related equipment. Based in Wichita, KS, this contract position requires providing technical assistance to users, diagnosing issues, and ensuring efficient IT operations. Familiarity with general hardware, software, and network technologies is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on company devices.
- Provide technical support to users through various communication channels.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Assist in setting up new workstations and configuring user accounts and applications.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and printer issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a similar technical support role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues in a Windows environment.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license.
