Through Leading Youth Through Empowerment, this AmeriCorps member will serve at Wilmington Youth Rowing Association supporting the organization's youth development and rowing programs through operational, administrative, and participant support activities. The member will assist with program coordination, communication systems, academic support initiatives, and community engagement efforts that strengthen the organization's ability to provide structured and supportive programming for middle and high school students. The member will help maintain organized program operations, support student engagement and mentorship efforts, and contribute to activities that enhance organizational effectiveness, sustainability, and community impact. Through this work, the member will help expand WYRA's capacity to support positive youth development, academic success, and access to extracurricular opportunities. Member Duties : Assist with daily program operations, facility coordination, and communication efforts to support consistent youth programming. Support student engagement, mentorship, and academic support activities that promote positive youth development and participation. Help maintain organized records, schedules, and administrative systems that strengthen program efficiency and sustainability. Assist with community outreach and represent the organization at events and partnership activities when needed. Support operational needs and logistics that help ensure successful delivery of youth rowing and enrichment programs.
